Games That May be Released In 2021

Every month, publishers release exciting and addictive games that are impossible to resist. In May 2021, no less interesting projects were published from various studios such as Capcom, Midwinter Studios, destructive wave 5e spell, Run wild Entertainment, etc. Therefore, today I have compiled a selection of games of different genres for May 2021.  

Biomutant

Biomutant is an action RPG developed by Experiment 101 for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4, which will be released on May 25, 2021. According to the plot, the world of Biomutant is on the brink of an apocalypse, because the Tree of Life, which saturates all creatures with vital energy, was infected with poisonous oil.

After that, in the world, six factions of living beings were formed, half of which want, in any way, to save the Tree of Life, and the rest are looking for chances of survival after its possible death.

In Biomutant, there are several endings to the plot, which the player can choose: to save the Tree of Life and return the world to its original state, or to wait for the Tree to die, which will lead to the apocalypse.

 In addition, the player will be able to: explore the world of Biomutant, use various means of transportation (submarine, balloon, jet ski, etc.), find parts to assemble weapons from them and apply different fighting styles to successfully fight against their enemies.

Subnautica: Below Zero

Subnautica: Below Zero is a first-person adventure game for PC, Xbox One, Xbox X / S series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, macOS, Eldritch Blast 5e and Nintendo Switch. The game was released on May 14, 2021. The plot tells the story of a scientist who enters planet 4546B to find any clue to the disappearance of the research group. Now, he needs to not only explore the underwater space but also survive in the icy depths of the planet.

In Subnautica: Below Zero, players will be able to: immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an icy underwater adventure, get food and the necessary resources, build their place of residence, escape from sharks and other predatory fish, receive help from the inhabitants of the ocean, climb snow-capped peaks to get into caves and find all the ancient artefacts.

Resident Evil: Village

Resident Evil: Village is a survival horror game from Capcom for platforms such as PC, Xbox One, Xbox X / S series and PlayStation 4/5. The game was released on May 7, 2021. The game takes place a few years after the action of Resident Evil 7. The main character named Ethan Winters and his wife lives a normal life.

But, one day, they encounter Chris Redfield, because of whom Ethan ends up in the mysterious snow-covered village of Transylvania, where the events of the plot will take place. Four demonic antagonists have power over the territory, who, together with the villagers, worship Mother Miranda. In Resident Evil: Village, players will be able to explore the snow-covered village, fight enemies, learn secrets and solve various puzzles.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends

Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a multiplayer action game for PC, Xbox One, Xbox X / S series and PlayStation 4/5, released on May 10, 2021. According to the plot, the main character is a criminal who must get into the fortress in order to steal the treasures.

 First, the main character must steal the key from the Sheriff of Nottingham, and then it is important for him to remember that the opposing team can be waiting for him at every turn. To successfully eliminate opponents, the player must: assemble a personal team that will be able to pull off the perfect robbery, bypass the cruel guards, secretly make their way to the vault using magical abilities, mercilessly fight enemies and take the loot from them.

 Mass Effect: Legendary Edition

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is an updated Mass Effect trilogy for PC, Xbox One, Firebolt 5e and PlayStation 4, where the player decides how the game’s story unfolds. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was released on May 14, 2021. According to the plot, the main character must become the glorified Captain Shepard so that he can decide the fate of the Milky Way galaxy.

To do this, the player needs to: create his own unique character, customizing his appearance, abilities and individual equipment, explore the territory of a rich universe, fight bosses or other opponents and unite the galactic commonwealth against a highly developed race of starships called the Reapers.

Eternal Evil Prologue is a first-person action horror prologue for PC, released on May 1, 2021. The plot tells the story of a small town, whose inhabitants have turned into ruthless ghouls. They attack the survivors and, in order to save the city, the main character must forget about his fears. In addition, he must find out where this phenomenon came from, which befell the peaceful inhabitants of the city.

In Eternal Evil Prologue, players will be able to: plunge into the atmosphere of horror and learn the intriguing history of the game, carefully study objects and notes, use various weapons to exterminate bloodthirsty ghouls, solve interesting puzzles and explore three huge locations to find clues that hide the terrible events that changed quiet small-town life.

Almighty: Kill Your Gods

Almighty: Kill Your Gods is an action RPG with arcade elements in a fantasy setting for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which was released on May 5, 2021. The plot direction of the game tells about hunters for various creatures: monsters, gods or demons.

In Almighty: Kill Your Gods, the player will take on the role of a warrior with magical abilities who has the power of his ancestors. In addition, the main character must: create and improve his equipment, defend his island, escape from enemy raids, protect his relatives and become the Almighty. Players in Almighty: Kill Your Gods will be able to play both alone and in online mode for up to four players.

Rioters 2025

Rioters 2025 is a multiplayer shooter with action elements for PC, which was released on May 14, 2021. In Rioters 2025, players must choose one of two factions (rioters and cops). Team matches are played on a small map in Team Deathmatch mode. Rioters 2025 players will be able to: fight other players in different areas (woodland, ruins of buildings, railway station, near skyscrapers, etc.) and win a team deathmatch on a small map.

BattleBeasts

BattleBeasts is a multiplayer first and third-person survival shooter that was released for PC on May 10, 2021. The game takes place on the planet Shima, the resources of which adventure seekers who come here from different parts of the universe want to use. The mysterious effects affect the artificial intelligence of the mechanisms and make it hostile to all sentient animal species.

Therefore, the main character must try to survive in an unknown world. To do this, he needs to: collect useful resources, equip personal territory, hunt predatory animals and use vehicles for fast movement. However, the main task of the player is to find out the secrets of the planet Shima in order to find out what is happening here.

HEAT REBORN

HEAT REBORN is a multiplayer first-person shooter with action elements for PC, which was released on May 8, 2021. The game takes place back in 2100 when the Republic of Kugelmugel practically took over the whole world. It is the largest state with a population of almost five billion people.

After the end of World War III, the republic was renamed the Conor Empire. In different parts of the state, new rebel movements are being formed that want to protect humanity from the intrigues of the totalitarian empire.

Therefore, in Game of Thrones S08E03 Torrent, players must: explore different areas, fight with other players to gain experience and money, take part in a team fight to the death, use first-aid kits to improve their health and protect the citadel from opponents.
