Deanna Bennet had a shaky start to life. She was born in Russia and soon after was adopted by a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania family. This 19-year-old now resides in South Carolina and is making her mark on the entrepreneurial world. Let’s find out more about this inspirational young woman.
Deanna, tell our audience about the start of your journey down the entrepreneurial path? What brought you to this career choice?
Truthfully, I didn’t know what I was really getting myself into in the beginning. I didn’t know that I would be learning how to actually invest money and invest in who I am as a person.
I was at a really low point in my life and I was calling out for help. I needed a miracle. Thankfully, I got blessed with this opportunity and even though I didn’t understand it at the time, it just felt right. I had to walk in my faith and let it lead me.
I think that’s where most people go wrong, they think all about the bad things that could go wrong and they never just do. I was given this opportunity and I let faith guide me. Today, I am a successful entrepreneur living my life.
You have a wonderful mindset. Can you tell us more about the concept of the business you have built?
The concept of my business is to personally develop people into their highest self, into becoming the successful person that they dream about. I show people how to really become that person, be financially literate, become an investor and really learn how to make money work for you.
A person can’t expect to make a million a year when they are barely able to handle the income that they are getting now. I teach people how to grow each and every day.
If you can grow your business 1% a day for a whole year, that’s 365%. The average person or business only grows 15%. My method can make the difference, it’s about constant learning, constant growth and development.
You have an amazing concept for success. Can you explain just how you help people that reach out to you through your business?
My business teaches people true life skills that you’re not taught in high school or college. I ask meaningful questions such as: Are you happy doing what you’re doing right now? Most say no. I show people how they can truly achieve that by tapping into a system that gives them a six-figure blueprint to build their own success.
We are growing each and every single day because it works, because of what we’re teaching and how we’re teaching it. There’s a total of seven forms of income that you can really learn about and learn how to capitalize on each service and form of making money.
What goals do you have for the future of your business, and for yourself personally?
My goals for the future personally would be to continue growing myself mentally, spiritually, physically, and financially, and diving more into the opportunities that come my way to collaborate with certain organizations. I just partnered recently with this nonprofit, called Survivors For Good.
It’s a mission for survivors of many types of traumatic injuries or congenital anomalies. I’m also about to drop my clothing brand very soon. I’m really excited about that. For the business, my goal is to grow to over 500 people and help them just like myself, mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially.
I want to help people within my business, and outside of my business, because at the end of the day, if you’re not helping people grow or become their better self, then what’s the point of all of this.
Your outlook on helping others is truly admirable. Paint a picture of your life before all this began, what was your childhood like? Can you also tell us about some of the difficulties you faced getting to this level of success?
Growing up, there weren’t many problems, besides the fact that I wasn’t super close with my family. I was adopted at a young age and I went through life alone a lot, it made me very independent. I learned a lot and made many mistakes.
As I said earlier, when I started I didn’t know what I was getting myself into and I wasn’t really ready for how much I really needed to develop as a person, That was the biggest blessing though. It forced me to develop as a person in order to grow my business.
You grow every single day. You get to plant certain seeds within yourself, you see some wither, some grow, you water them and by the end of it, you’ll have this beautiful garden that you didn’t even know was possible.
Thank you for sharing your vivid visual journey, Deanna. In closing, please give us your best three pieces of advice for future entrepreneurs.
Have Faith – Faith that you can run your own business, you can become an investor and an entrepreneur. You can change your life from zero to a hundred. You’re not limited. Have a strong belief in the higher power that you look up to.
Work Hard – You can believe all you want and dream, but at the end of the day, if you’re not putting in any action, then it’s just a dream. So having that mix of action with faith, that’s key to everything.
Self Love – Really get to know yourself and becoming your own best friend. You can’t help anyone else until you help yourself. Self-love is the most important thing that you can acquire in this lifetime. It is understanding that deeper spirit within you. Once you tap into that strength then you can give that love back to the earth, and to people.
